At the very end of the chasing Sasuke arc, Naruto meets up with Sasuke after following him for 2 hours. He follows him to a cliff at the edge of a waterfall. There, Sasuke says that he is no longer going to deal with Konoha and that he has decided to go to Orochimaru for power. Naruto springs into attack, but it fails. The battle is long, but in the end, Sasuke decides that killing his best friend isn't worth it. He runs off to Orochimaru and leaves his scratches headband next to unconcious Naruto. Kakashi finds Naruto and brings him back to the village. It's weird that they fought at Valley of the Ends 'cause it was like...the end of Sasuke and Naruto's friendship. (this episode made me cry)

Naruto started out as a comic in Japan, written by Masashi Kishimoto. It was about a boy, and it had nothing to do with ninjas, like it is now. It was about MAGIC! But it became so popular that he decided to reuse the character in a comic about ninjas, thus starting Naruto. It was REALLY popular in Japan, so they made it a show in 1999. The comic came to America in October 2000. In 2004 they aired the show on Cartoon Network in America. Over the past 2 years, the show has become very popular. San, Nii, Ichi... IKUZU!
