West Regional
UCLA rode the back of freshman sensation Kevin Love, who had 19 points and 10 rebounds as they beat Xavier 76-57 in the West Region Final in Phoenix. This is UCLA's third straight Final Four appearance under coach Ben Howland. Derrick Brown had 13 points for Xavier, who was really never in the game.
East Regional
Tyler Hansbrough carried the topseeded Tar Heels, as they nip Louisville 83-73 in the East Region Final in Charlotte. Hansbrough had 28 points and 13 rebounds as UNC reached the Final Four for the first time since 2005. The third seeded Cardinals hung tough throughout the game, tieing the contest at 59 midway through the second half. But, UNC rode Hansbrough inside and out, and had a 17-7 run after that to seal their ticket to San Antonio.
