I want to change my skin, but my blog is already saved. Is there a way to change it?
 
Sure is. You can change the skins and layout as many times as you want. When you're looking at your blog, all the way in the very upper left corner, above everything else, you'll see something that says "Edit my blog settings." Click on that, and then click on the "Change Skin" or "Change Layout" buttons.

How do you read your comments?

 

Below the post that's received comments, you'll see something like: Comments (2) for validation, which will be linked. Click on that link and it will take you to see your comments. You'll have to check the box on each individual comment to "approve" it so that other readers will see the comment. If you don't like the comment, you can click to delete it.

 
How do I see who has looked at my blog?
 
Sorry, you can't see the screennames of people who have viewed your blog, but you can add a visitor tracker that will count your number of readers. To add that to your blog, follow the instructions in the answer above and click on the "Change Layout" button. Then you can click/hold/drag the vistors box into your layout.
 
I just made a blog and I have no idea how to work it. Nobody gives me comments, nobody visits.

How do I send my blog to my friends? They have AIM and I'm on AOL.
 
You can do it two ways: First, when you're looking at your blog, click on "Send to a friend," which is located all the way at the top of the page. That will take you to a page where you can enter their email addresses. Or you can send them the Web site link. The link to your blog is located in the browser window (where you would type in a Web site address). Highlight the link, then hit Control and C at the same time to copy it, and Control and V to paste it into an IM window or email form. Also, keep in mind that your friend will have to enter their AIM screenname & password to view your blog.
 
Are posts the same as comments?
 
Posts are the entries that you write in your blog. Comments are the responses that your visitors write to you.
 
How do you get your poll results?
 
Here's how to add a poll to your layout: When you're looking at your blog, all the way in the very upper left corner, click on "Edit my blog settings," and then click on the "Change Layout" button. Drag the poll option onto your layout and click Save. Go back out to view your blog and you'll be able to add a poll that way. Your poll results will continuously update as viewers vote in your poll.
 
I made a blog, then I made another and another. How do I delete the ones I don't want anymore?
 
You can have up to 10 blogs, but here's how to delete the ones you really really don't want anymore: Click on "Edit My Blog Settings" in the upper left corner of the blog you want to delete. That will bring you to a page with four big buttons. UNDER the buttons, you'll see another line of text that says, "To delete this blog, Click Here." Guess what you do then? :)
 
How can I get a link for my blog? Like if I want to put it in my AIM profile or something, how can I get the link for it so other people can see it?
 
The link to your blog is located in the browser window (where you would type in a Web site address). Is there any way you can have a profile without your screen name showing? Like if you wanted to have a secret blog?
 
You'll always have to have a screen name associated with your blog, but ask your parent or guardian if you could create a new "secret" screen name. Each AOL account can have up to seven screen names.
 
So I normally click on The Lounge -- then Blogs -- then Create Your Own -- and my current blog is up there and I just click on it, but now I go there and it has the thing where you create one. Is my blog not existent anymore more? Where did it go?
 
Probably, your computer just "forgot" it was there because someone on a different AOL screen name was also using the computer. If you're using Windows, you can clear this out by clicking the Start button on the bottom of the computer screen, then Settings, then Control Panel, then Internet options. Click on both Delete Cookies and Delete Files, and you should be fine when you return to the blogs page. (By the way, you can get to the blogs page much quicker by entering Keyword: RED Blogs!)

 

I used to have an awesome blog. Now it is signing on as my friend's screen name, and i just want to make a new blog! It won't let me change my screen name. Whenever I go the link that says "sign in as a different user," I type in all my correct information, and it still goes back to a screen with HER screen name.

 

Ah, the ol'  "sign in as a different user"issue. Follow the same instructions I gave in the answer above and this should solve your problem.

 

I want to create a public blog, but when I try, it says that I need to be a Mature Teen.

 

You're probably on either a Young Teen or an Adult AOL account. You must have a Mature Teen account in order to have a public blog. Ask your parent or guardian to check the parental control settings on your account.

 

I started a blog yesterday and I dont know how to get back to it. Please help me!!

 

Go to Keyword: RED Blogs and you should see any and all of your blogs in the middle of the page, under the heading My Blogs.

hey i have a blog (well obviously). when i try to add someone to my favorites sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. the blogs that im trying to add arent private blogs because they are on other peoples blogs. but my blog adds some of the blogs i type in but not the other onther ones. can u tell me why this happens? thanks!

I have opened an account (not a Blog), so that I can read Blogs. The system assigned an email address to the account. There does not seem to be any info about this in the help files or FAQ's. Do I need to open an AOL email account? Or does this re-direct to my actual email address? I have received confirmation of the account (to my actual email) but there is no info included about this AOL email.

 

Also, does the "save" button actually mean "send" or "submit"?
