So Long, Farwell!

YES my journey with pulchritude is over....I know what you all must be thinking... What! NO!.... right? he he. Well I'm stopping bc I have many other things popping up in my life right now that seems to need more of my focus (all of it). I just want to say its been great sharing my girly hobbies with you, I've had lots of fun, really! And I want everyone to know, I'm not just leave you out in the cold! You still have my email! and guess what? you can email when every you have a beauty question or something you found interesting that you wanted to share with another beauty addict (me). I'll keep you updated its not like I'm stopping this beauty madness (that will always be apart of me). Its just that, that everything with a begging also has a end. Please understand that life has taken me to places I never thought I'd be and it's time to stop the old and get in with the new!Remember I'm always here! I've noticed when I wake up in the morning for school it's just too early to worry about how much makeup I'm going to wear that day. I just keep it simple at school and if I go out that night the more I glamour up (I'm like that on the weekends). Don't get me wrong I do sometimes daring things with my makeup, but most of the time its just plain and simple. Anyone do the same?

Well I really hope everyone had a great Christmas and remembered that the reason for the season is Jesus. But anyway The tile of this entry is not exactly about a secret I've been keeping from you, really I've been meaning to write about it here in Pulchritude. I have found the best, most wonderful eyeshadow you can get in stores and I'm not talking about sophora or a department store I mean a wall-mart or a wallgreens! Physicians Formula, I doubt is a unfamiliar cosmetic line for most of you. It is one of the more expensive store bought makeup and one of the best. I must tell you I haven't tried much of their cosmetics and the stuff I have tried I love! And there is one I really like. So let me get to the point! Baked Collection Wet-Dry Eyeshadow 9 different shadow quads with 3 colors in each that have cute names like "Baked Sugar" "Baked Butter" "Baked Spices" and my favorite "Baked Berries". These shadows glide on and stay on wet or dry. I had a hard time finding a eyeshadow that could be used wet and not just dry. When using the colors dry it's nice for the day time when using the colors wet it's nice for the night. Colors become more like paint when wet (instead of powder when dry) that made it stand out more on lids.

Oh! look at this sweet treat for you lips! This is a very cute gift idea for your girls (but not out until January of 07). This sparkly powder is what they call "lip toppings". Sprinkle just a little on you favorite lipgloss to make your lips even more sweeter. I really can't wait till this is out in stores...I'm a little shady about the price ($15) but I still may just buy it. Revlon is really starting to get in to the grove...What do you think? Will Revlon keep coming out with sweet girly products?

*~Well last night was the night America's Next Top Model was announced. "The Battle of The Blondes" CariDee and Melrose .. I was happy that CariDee did make it but I don't think one person really deserved it. Melrose was a little rough around the edges, very mean at times and CariDee was always feeling sorry for herself and a little consumed in herself. But I'm hopping to see this "Top Model" will actually be a top model. You watch the episode and go "Wow America's Next Top Model" but is she really? I don't think so I never see the girls form the past seasons on the fount of magazines except with Tyra for one cover on Seventeen and that's the end. It seems to me its not worth it, reality shows are just not reality. *~Did you also catch Victoria's Secret Fashion show on CBS @ 10 Wednesday? It was awesome! They were all very beautiful with the barely there outfits! Justin Timberlake also there to sing his two hit songs Bring Sexy Back and My Love. I'm sure it will be on again, make sure to watch it!

Tom Ford's Black Orchid- this is not for the weak... Powerful fragrance has very little sugar and a whole lot of spice, to me it's very nice (lol like my rime?). Can I say... a very grown up smell? I think a woman who is confident & sure of herself would wear this daring fragrance. It reminds me of a dark an stary night in the city, alluring and dangerous. With Love by Hillary Duff- This perfume is for all ages. Women seem to love it just as much as girls. The bottle is what gets me it's so classy and sophisticated the smell is the same but playful and warm hearted. This fragrance is love, not just the love you feel for that certain person, but also the love of family and friends. What a great perfume to wear during holidays!

I don't know about you but here in Ohio the weathers been great...but I feel it in the air that the icy cold will be here soon (to soon), so we must all get ready. things to always keep in your purse during the cold season. Chapstick: I have heard myths about chapstick being addictive. "Chapstick has alcohol to purposely keep lips dry for the user to buy more hopping that, that chapstick will help their poor suffering chapped lips." I do believe this has a truth to it, let me explain. I do not think someone could be addicted (well maybe if that person is like me and a makeup junkie and is addicted to it all), but truthfully alcohol is present in many chapstick (alcohol is used as a preservative), very little, but that doesn't make it addictive and it doesn't really make lips more chapped. For some, alcohol can and may irritate, making it harder to recover from dry, flaky lips. The best way to keep form getting chapped lips is to use an all natural lip balm or chapstick. Look for chapstick or lip balm that has no alcohol in the ingredients. Hand Lotion: Same goes for hand cream, you need an all natural product. I have found that all natural or mostly natural products work excellent on dry skin. natural oils like jojoba, olive and sunflower retain moisture. Again try to stay away from lotions containing alcohol. It may seem a bit hard to get your hands on them and more expensive to go this route, but look at this way you will feel better and your skin will look better all winter long.

The article says ..."studies have found that pleasant orders can lift mood, leading to people being less critical, notes Hirsch, author of Life's a Smelly Success. Hirsch, is a guy who made the news- not to mention late-night TV...Several years ago when his study showed that the most appealing smells for men are pumpkin pie and lavender."..... What do you think about that? Let me hear yah!

Beauty Quote Beauty, like wisdom, is easy to identify but hard to quantify I reserved a free sample of Biore Pore Perfect- Pore Minimizing Foaming Face Wash in the mail the other day. I have been using it for about a week and I love it! I would, before breakout, with a tiny zit here and there (nothing that a little zit cream applied once couldn't take care of) But when I started using this I saw a differences in how my skin felt and looked. No more little pimples and my skin was smooth. This product has tiny microbeads that gently exfoliate leaving skin smooth and tight without drying skin out. I would say my skin is pretty normal so it's not had to dry it out or to make it too oily. Pore Minimizing Foaming Face Wash feels so good on my skin. It's one of the first face washes I really like, I also like the smell of it.

You start with liquid eyeliner in a crazy fall shade or eyeliner pencil (might be easier). Begin at the top inside corner of the eyelid, stretch just a tad your skin by your eyelid out> (just like if you were putting eyeliner on normally). Keep as close to the lash as possible. When your at the end of the your eyelid being to make the eyeliner line more thicker (the color more thinker). To finish it off go out just a little bit farther than the end of your eyelid. Last weekend I went to Bath & Body Works. I looked around found some small products I wanted to try out like a 2 dollar bottle of a new secent they're coming out with this fall called Sensual Amber..mumm smells so good. And I got a small bottle of C.O. Bigelow rose body silk, I like to put on my hands just before bed. But what I really want to talk about is what happened when we got to the check out and was given our bag. The women informed us that she just has give use over $40 in coupons of free products!!! I was like wow! Awesome! I pulled the thing out, it's a full size coupon book! I was in awe, LoL. So what I'm tell YOU is to get your butt to Bath & Body Works!!

Even the old is coming out bigger and better, Eerbal Essences, Head & Shoulders, and Pantene's Ice Shine. I can safely say every other advertisement in my August magazines are all about the hair. *MicroDermabrasion and Peel kits are a big big thing in beauty right now. Every cosmetic line seems to be coming out with their own home Facial Kits that keep you away from the professionals. Most peels work wonders on aging skin, but don't stray away from them just yet! They also do wonders on problem skin like acne (Neutrogena has one). Even if you don't have aging skin or problem skin they will still give your skin a smooth healthy glow.

Beauty Finds I have found a couple of products I really like they're Cheap and easy to find at you local drugstore or Walmart. Dove Cool Moisture I love this line it consist of cucumber and green tea. The smell is amazing, clean and fresh. My favorites; the deodorant and the bar of soap. St. Ives Apricot Scrub 12 oz This scrub especially the big tub smells wonderful. Smoothes over face and body easily, exfoliating for soft skin all over.

In my Teen Vogue magazine I stumbled upon an article on how to apply day makeup and night makeup in 7 steps form a professional makeup artist, Jemma Kidd. Once a model, she gave it up to start her own Makeup School in London and loves to teach what she has learned. This article sparked a dream of mine, to one day after my modeling career is over to start my own BEAUTY magazine. This has been my hope and desire for the longest time. Since having Pulchritude I have been exploring the world of beauty ever so deeply (more then before) that I want to giving people exactly what they want when they open up a magazine.The tips, the tricks, the solutions, the cheep, the expensive, the news, the science and the trends of beauty to every teen and women out there! Modeling and Sephora

Today I traveled all the way to Cincinnati for a modeling open call at Wings Model Management and guess what! I am now a wings model! I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life! I just have to remember to give it me best! But another thing I got to do today and have been waiting, it seems all my life is to visit Sephora. Yeah I know what you all must be thinking, "What, a girl that is so obsessed with makeup and beauty, that has never been to Sephora until today!!" Shocker I know! But you must remember I live in the country and Sephora is one of those "big to do" stores that are only in the big cities (did you know that?). But back to the subject, to me being in Sephora was like a kid in a candy store! Yes, I couldn't stop try this and trying that, I wanted it ALL! Believe me I defiantly do not have the money for it, I didn't even have the money for a lipgloss. But I did find out that you can have a sample of anything you wanted to try out. Which is awesome! I'm defiantly a sample kinda girl! So I asked for a sample of Delices de Cartier. Love, Love, Love this stuff! But of course, it has to cost a pretty penny. Never hurts to ask for more samples LOL

lately I've been obsessed with bold lips that speak without the mouth moving. My favorite colors for this summer's look is hot pink, purple cherry, and an orange peachy lipgloss I got a couple of weeks ago. It's such a desirable look, going out with little makeup on the eyes and lips that look like neon lights! lol But before you go and get that flashy lipgloss follow these rules * when you want you lips to be the thing that catches his eye, keep the eyes soft... you don't want to take it over bored. * Fined the right color...some color just don't fit with your skin.. but don't stray away from ridiculously bights shades...you can always try it out, right? * You always need a lip liner...yeah I know you don't think about it when you use your normal everyday gloss. But when it comes to daring lip colors you have to out line the lips in the closes color to the gloss.

Stay away from heavy foundation and eyeliner. Try a tented moisturizer with SPF and no eye makeup. Pick the right makeup for warm, humid weather. Cream blush is light and goes on skin flawlessly blending in very well with skin looking natural. On the eyes go with powders that wont crease or smear. Powder bronzer (shimmer free and that's truly a golden brown) is best on face, soaks up oil and doesn't look splotchy. With lips bright colors are most flattering in gloss form. Don't be afraid of orange, corals, tangerines and peach gloss on the lips they all look great with a tan and dresses up even a naked face. Hair * Instead of buying clarifying shampoo, mix about two tablespoons of backing soda into regular shampoo and wash as usual to strip product buildup from hair (get out pool chlorine and iron). * To protect hair color from fading mix on part sunscreen with three part purified water in a water bottle and spritz hair before going to the beach or pool. Skin * Swipe deodorant over bikini line after waxing or shaving to prevent red bumps. Dermatologists say why it works because there's something in the deodorant that protects your skin against irritation. * Pimples are no match for honey or hydrogen peroxide. Try honey on a pimple at nigh, because it has antibacterial properties, it helps zits heal faster. Try hydrogen peroxide on inflamed zits. This removes all bacteria and dries up the area very quickly.

tinkpink2009- just asking but how often should girls wash there hair? because i have sort of medium-ish hair but whenever i wake up in the morning, my hair feels greasy//dirty so i feel like i need to wash it or else it'll smell bad later or get even greasier [which it does sometimes]. and since i usually wash my hair everyday, my moms been telling me to cut it down to every other day to every 3 days but i cant stand it and i feel like i need to wash it everyday. so i'm just asking you what you do or what you think is enough. thanks! Hey Rockrgrl013! I believe in the winter you should cut down to minim to how much you wash your hair it gets very dried out if you wash it everyday, even in the summer hair can get too dry, by being out in the sun! But its always nice to give your hair a brake every now and thin from washing. So try this, when washing your hair use a oily hair shampoo only at the roots (this shampoo should be clear (transparent) always condition, only at ends of hair) oil starts at the roots so this will keep hair from not getting limp and oily for not wash it the next day. You also mentioned that your hair smells bad when you don't wash it, an easy fix is to use baby powder. This controls the smell and soaks up extra oil (always make sure your rub it in well, use a brush) Also there are hair perfumes out there, when you wake in the morning just sprits some on to hair and slip it into your purse, for a little fix here and there.

Cream Blush is versatile- apply it to lips, cheeks & eyes. Shimmer body pencils are also versatile- you can apply it to cheeks, out line lips and your eyes. Before putting on those sexy, comfortable open toe shoes make sure your feet skin is in good condition. With these easy nine steps you too will have silky feet. So go ahead get ready to do your own pedicure. soak your feet for 10-15 minutes in warm water containing Epsom salt or foot soak Use exfoliating scrub to gently scrub the soles and all over your feet and heel to remove dead skin. Dry your feet. Trim your toenails and push back cuticles. Rinse feet once again and pat dry. Massage feet with plenty of foot lotion. Body lotion, petroleum jelly or cream can be use to replace foot lotion. Wrap feet on plastic bags and cover for at least 15 minutes. Paint toe nails. Make sure to apply at least to coats of nail polish and a top coat of clear nail polish to give it more shine. Give it enough time to dry, before putting on any shoes. If you put on shoes too soon your pedicure will get ruin. Enjoy your self given & low cost pedicure!

Unchap your lips with this technique. For soft, beautifully kissable lips, you need the following: a washcloth (I'm not kidding either), warm water, and your favorite brand of lip balm. First you apply a coat of lip balm. Then wet one corner of the washcloth, put the warm wet corner of the washcloth between your lips, press them together and hold for 5 seconds. Then gently massage any remaining lip balm from lips with the wet corner of the washcloth, and dry lips with a corner thats dry. Apply lip balm again to keep your lips chap free. You may also apply lipstick or lip gloss on over the layer of lip balm. The best way to keep lips from chapping, after going through too many winters with dried, and chapped lips.

Time for a little color! When picking spring nail polish go with shimmers and pastels try essie spring06 collection I love the colors! But first before you pile on the polish here's what you need to do first. Make sure nails are clean> use a nail brush with soap and scrub under nails with warm water. Clean under free edge (the part were all the dirt seems to end up) with a tooth pick. Buff nails and shape them with a nail filer. Push cuticles back. Clean them again with water and dry them with a paper towel. Apply a base coat. Very important, if you want your nail polish to glide on nicely and stay on. Use the nail color you picked out apply 2 coats. Let each coat dry for 2 mins Lastly apply a top coat. A shinny glaze look. Tip: If you want nail polish to stay looking like you just did them, use one swipe with the clear top coat everyday.

Hey, It was my B-day yesterday. And my mother took me to get a manicure and a pedicure. Let me tell you a spa pedicure is the best! I just love sitting there and relaxing with my feet in this like mini hot tub with jets going.....and then the best part was the scrub she used on my feet, an all the creams, lotions and oils that were rubbed and massage on. Mascara Blush Lip Gloss/Chap stick Another good thing to use this spring is a tinted moisturizer it still gives you a coverage but its very light and gives your skin a glow try Revlon's Skinlight Diffusing Tint Foundation perfect for spring also try a cream blush like Rimmel's Soft Cream Blush both of these products I am lusting after, so they're on top of my list to spend with my B-day money. PS you think its a bad idea to lighten up on your makeup because you feel your skin isn't its best, Well think again. All you have to do it drink a good amount of water (no soda pop) and get a good night sleep, It works! oh and always wash your face every morning and every night and always always use a moisturizer afterwards.

Tinted moisturizer is just moisture base makeup, usually containing an SPF which most moisturizers and most makeup have in it. All it really is, is liquid foundation mixed with a moisturizer. So you use a moisturizer everyday don't you? and don't you also wear foundation everyday? its the same thing just a two in one kinda deal, it's fast and easy. All your doing is skipping a step!

You wake up late for school, only little time to jump in the shower and no time to wash your hair. What to do? Someday's you just don't want to get up early to wash your hair but you don't want your hair to look like a greasy mess (hopefully it doesn't look that bad) So a trick that I use and also my friends use to add volume and kick greassiness, just use baby powder.....yeah baby powder, it works! Baby powder and other body powders work well when hair is dirty because it soaks up the grease and gets rid of the shine, giving hair volume when drity. Tip: if you have dark hair, defiantly make sure you rub in the powder to avoid look like you have gray hair..not good! : ) Have Tips? leave a Comment!

Hey Caitlin! Brown, navy and charcoal accent light eyes well, while brown and plum shades flatter brown eyes. So I think you should try a brown eyeliner. Okay people might say you look like a racoon with eyeliner on because you may not know how to apply it correctly First make sure your liner complements the color of your shadow. Next, consider the type of look you're after. Pencil eyeliner gives your eyes soft definition, while liquid versions offer precision and drama. If you're using a pencil eyeliner, ensure that you've sharpened the pencil adequately. Hold the pencil as you would hold a pen. Tilt your head back slightly and bring your eyes to a half-open state. This creates a good angle for application, while allowing you to see what you're doing. Stretch the skin a little pull out and up and draw a line across the upper lid just above the lashes, from the outside corner to the inside corner of the eye. Soften and a more natural look smudge the line with a cotton swab or your finger. Finally, line the lower lids. Moving from the outside edge inward, using your pencil, lightly stroke the area. Tip: I do not think eyeliner is need on bottom lashes instead just use lots of mascara. by doing this Caitlin, you wont look like a racoon, I promise!

Prada Electric Orchid This look is probably the easiest out of the three to duplicate. What you need to do first is always start with a clean, moisturized face. Your foundation should be a cream/liquid foundation and you want to apply that all over, on eye lids, neck, and even lips. For your eye brows make sure they are groomed. Brush them, pluck them whatever is need to be done for them to look neat an in place. Using a eye brow pencil darken them, but be very careful, don't making them too dark! The lips, your lips should already have foundation on them and look very nude so first off apply a lip liner. Out line your lips and last apply a lip stain. If you have never heard of a lip stain or not sure what it does, It stains the lips a dye it's very drying without moisture. To find lip stain you could go to the department store and ask the women at the counter if they sell lip stains if they don't ask where you might find it. Missoni Overt Violet Start with a clean face and moisturize. Using the smallest amount as possible of a liquid foundation. Blend in well on entire face and neck. Next you want to apply a pink powder blush to check bones. After that, to the part of your check bone that sticks out the most (should be close to your eye) apply vaseline just add shimmer in to the vaseline for glossy checks. For the eyes (the most important part to this makeup look) apply a dark purple (with a gray tint) powder eye shadow along the upper and lower lash line inside corners to outside corners. Using a cotton swab blend shadow outward (you may have to apply more eye shadow). Then apply a light shimmer purple to your brow bone (underneath eyebrows). After the shadow is in it's place apply a thin line of black eyeliner to top lash (not bottom) curl eye lashes and apply thick coats of mascara to top eye lashes and bottom. Lips, use pink lipstick and add a little vaseline to the middle of the upper and lower lip, just in the center. click to see larger

To even out you skin tone use a small amount of tinted moisturizer. Blend very well all over face and neck. If skin seems oily apply a small amount of loose powder. Next give yourself a fresh spring look by applying a rose cream blush to apples of checks and on check bones. For shimmery eyes use a eye shimmer pencil (brown or nude) that is big and thick, this will be used for eyeliner as well as eye shadow. First use as eyeliner, blend towards eyebrows (but don't get it in eyebrows) After, apply 1 stroke of mascara. Hey! Happy Valentine's Day! Went to Bath & Body Works couple weeks a go and found out they had a skin care line. And i'm crazy for it! Here are a couple of things i've tried and bought and lets not forget love! Rose Hydrating Treatment Gel: This stuff is awesome...smells great (like roses, lol) keeps skin moist without the oil & it feels cool and refreshing to the skin. How much better could it get? The Apothecary Rose products are my favorite to use of C.O. Bigelow's Ultra Mentha Lip Shine: This high shine gloss is packed with a minty freshness and is very sweet to the lips and taste buds. Soothing Lip Buffer: Use this lip exfoliator first before piling on lip gloss and you'll have soft, silky lips from fine sugar granules scrubbing away pesky dry flacks. A sugar scrub for the lips!

::Posted on Feb 11 2006 13:22:30 ET by snowbunny13323 ok, so V-Day is usually also cold time, and no one wants a cold on Valentine's with a stuffy nose, sore throat, etc, a great natual herb tea to help soothe the throat is Slippery Elm Tea. you can get this stuff in any health food store. it's a powder, so it's kinda like making instant coffee. all you do is put a lil bit of the powder into a mug (about 1/3 of a typical metal soup spoon) and fill the mug with really really hot water. make sure to keep stirring it periodically while you're drinking it, otherwise it'll live up to the name "slippery" and you won't want to drink it! but if you keep stirring it, it will stay liquidy, and at least a lil apetizing. and don't start drinking it right away! you might wanna wait for it to cool. that way you'll still be able to taste those chocolates your honny gave you! and don't mind the taste. it's just one cup, and what herb tea (besides peppermint) actually tastes good? good luck and have fun this V-Day! <3<3<3 SnowBunny Thanks for the tip SnowBunny! *Tinky*

Want that red glossy finish on your lips this V-day? Here is a great recipe to make your own lip gloss that is full of flavor... Yummm 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil 10 fresh cranberries 1 teaspoon honey 1 drop of vitamin E oil Mix all the ingredients together in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for a couple of minutes or until the mixture just begins to boil. (Bowl may also be heated in a pan of water on a stovetop). Stir well and gently crush the berries. Cool mixture for five minutes and then strain through a fine sieve to remove all the fruit pieces. Stir again and set aside to cool completely.When cool, transfer into a small portable plastic container or tin.

What You Need *Candy pink nail polish *Red nail polish *Base coat nail polish *Top coat nail polish *Tiny paintbrush, (from a craft or art-supply store) *Toothpick *Large-size silver glitter How To Do IT paint nails with a base coat; let dry paint your nails with the candy pink nail polish you have picked out; let dry Dip the tiny paint brush into the red nail polish bottle, make sure there is only the tiniest bit of paint on the brush---paint the itsy-bitsy heart first on a paper plate for practice. After trying a couple practice hearts start with your thumbnail (the largest surface area therefore the easiest to work on) paint the heart. While the heart is still wet , lick the tip of a toothpick to make it sticky (uncooked spaghetti works great too) pick up a sparkle speck, and place it around the outline of the heart. Keep at it until the heart is totally outlined with glitter. Wait until the nail polish is all the away dry and apply a top coat.

Went shopping yesterday, with my mother had a very nice time. I also bought a lot! spending all my money from Christmas but it's okay it was worth it. The thing I went out to get was Rosebud Salve I have heard so much about this lip balm. People go crazy over it! I'm guessing because of its great smell and how multi-purpose it is. You can use it to smooth dry lips, nail cuticles, elbows, knees, hands, any where you might have dryness or even dab it on a miner burn. $6.00 My mother bought LipFuzionXL. It's a very glossy semi clear lip gloss used for plumping up lips. both Me & my mother tried it at first your lips feel tingly almost numb I didn't like the feeling but my mom didn't seem to mind as long as it plumped up her lips which it did, it also made her lips pinker. Here is the how to for home facials that you and you ckicks can do and make yourselves! Waking up this morning I decided to wear bright pink eyeliner! You see going to the school i go to (a Christian school that is), I like to mix it up a lil bit. It's just plain boring to wear the same thing everyday (uniforms) so why not do something funky with your makeup! that's what i think! LOL its funny the girls in my class loved what I did with my eyes, they all thought it was awesome! The boys on the other hand looked at me like I was demon possessed! LOL One boy said my eyes looked like they were bleeding another called me pink eye all day! That shows how much boys know about fashion and makeup! Right!? hehehe Bight makeup can be fun! but remember don't go over bored with it, keep it simple. Either make you eyes stand out or the lips not both at that same time! also remember bight makeup can't be worn every where some my not take you seriously. REMEMBER! when trying new products to skin make sure your not allergic to any of the ingredients. Just in case skin is irritated by the product, never use the product the day of or even the day before a big occasion! ( like a dance or party) 1st apply scrub for dry skin 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal1/2 cup almonds (or you can try sugar)Put oats and almonds in a food processor, blend until mixture is a fine powder. Place some in the palm of your hand and moisten with a few drops of warm water. Rub paste onto face with a gentle circular motion. Rinse with warm water. 2nd apply face mask for dry skin Make a puree of 1 banana and 1 papaya, peach or avacado. Apply to skin. As you all have noticed, I love vaseline! HEHE I know I'm a lil weird. But really it's good stuff, It's cheep and fun to mess with! I have listed some of the wonderful things you can do with vaseline. Hope you enjoy! What You Can Do With It? With a lil shimmer in vaseline or a lil shimmer in petroleum jelly (the same thing) you can do wonders! add shimmer bronzer or just some very light pearly shimmer to vaseline/petroleum jelly and mix! Vaseline on the eyelashes: take vaseline without shimmer and apply to the eyelashes then curl them. this will open up the eyes and make them stand out without mascara. Vaseline on the eyebrows: with a lil shimmer in it or without, apply a small bit to eyebrows. This will take on a fresh natural look by keeping eyebrows in place. Vaseline on the cheek bones: again with shimmer or without. Suck in cheeks and apply a very small amount to the bone. This will take on a natural look of blush, highlighting the check bones without color. Vaseline on lips: this will look like a clear lip gloss, very simple keeping lips moisturized & glossy! Vaseline on nails: this will give you a natural shine to the nails kinda like a clear nail polish, again fresh and simple keeping nails and nail's cuticles moisturized. *Tinky*

I tried it and the sound is ANNOYING but in the morning its worth it, especially if you walk around barefoot all the time. If you do that, though, it might take a few nights for your feet to become TOTALLY soft. It's Lotion+Socks+Bags=Happy Feet.

tweezing should be done after a bath or shower, when skin is bendable always use natural light 1st apply a dab of witch hazel or tea tree oil. Can't stand the pain? numb the brows first with Oragel. A gel which is actually designed for the tooth and mouth pain. brush eyebrows upwards & out wards. hold skin with the opposite hand and gently stretch. Place tweezers close to skin near the hair (as close as you can get to the hair root) pull quickly in one motion. pluck a few from one brow then go to the next pluck from the same area and check to make sure your brows are even. after plucking apply Aloe Vera Gel brows should stop where eyes stop, corner to corner of eyes. No shorter no longer

*Tip for de-flaking capped lips. "Exfoliate with scotch tape", The How To: moisten lips with water, dry them. Then apply a strip of tape to the lips. Gently remove the tape & the rough aurface flakes should come off. After, condtion lips with lip balm allwoing 10 to 20 min. for it to sink in before applying anything else to lips. *To make the top lip appear to stand out more run a white pencil lightly just above the bow or add a white shimmer there.

By: Tracie Johansen If you have dry skin from the winter air you gotta try this. I made it up a couple of weeks ago because my skin was so dried out I thought it would literally fall off my bones. I used it once and I couldn't believe That I was wearing the same skin I had 1 hour before. 1 cup corn meal 1/4 cup body lotion 5 Vitamin E capsules (pierced with a pin and the fluid squeezed out). 1 egg Mix all ingredients together with a wire Wisk. Shower as usual, once you have washed your skin with a mild shower gel, take handfuls of the mixture and rub briskly on you entire body. Let it set for 5 minutes and rinse. Rewash with shower gel and rinse. You will be amazed at the difference in your skin. ENJOY!!!

This is just want you need Body Bath Recipes Candy Cane Bath SaltsIngredients:3 cups of Epsom salts3 Teaspoons of Sweet Almond Oil9 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil1 drop of red food coloring ( more if you like)1 drop of green food coloringHow to make: To make the salts separate each of the three cups of salts into three bowls.Separate each teaspoon of almond oil into three bowls.Into one bowl of almond oil add the drop of red food coloring, into the second add the green, leave one of the bowls without food coloring it should have only oil. Into each of the three bowls of oil add three drops of peppermint oil. Mix each bowl well. After mixing pour each of the bowls containing the oils and coloring into one of the bowls of salt. This will leave you with a bowl of green a bowl of red and a bowl of white scented salts. Let sit for a few hours, covered.To create the candy cane effect layer layers of each color, a layer of red, a layer of green , a layer of white, over and over until you fill the jar.To decorate:several jars with turn lids or cork sealsred, green and white Christmas ribbonseveral gift tags shaped like candy canes ORseveral candy canes (small ones) Bath CookiesIngredients: 2 cups finely ground sea salt1/2 cup baking soda1/2 cup cornstarch2 tbs. light oil1 tsp. vitamin E oil2 eggs5-6 drops essential oil like vanilla or lavenderHow to make:Preheat oven to 350 F. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes, until they are lightly browned. Do not overbake. Allow the cookies to cool completely. makes: 24 cookies, enough for 12+ baths. by Joanne Elliott Are you ready to have some fun this Christmas?! Well why not get a few girlfriends together for a night in with pizza, soda, and prepare for the festivities with a nail party! No matter how old or young you are, anybody can make these entertaining ideas sophisticated and glamorous. And the best thing is, none of these suggestions will break the bank! Glitter Chick Design your own glittery nail varnish. This one's really easy. Choose a 'base' color, and paint your nails with one coat. Then immediately sprinkle glitter onto the surface of the wet varnish! You can use any color glitter that you want. Or why not go for a rainbow effect, or try to draw on stripes with the glitter? Use the hairdryer to ensure that the nail varnish is dry. Then finish the effect with a thin coat of clear varnish... this will 'seal in' the glitter, and also stop the glitter from being scratchy. Crazy Lady (my favorite) If you're feeling a little eccentric, this one will be right up your street! Why not stick cool things onto your nails?! Paint the base color as bright as you want. You can even use a combination of techniques like stripes or dots to create a really bold effect. Then take some nail glue, and carefully stick things like feathers or festive star shaped sequins directly to the nail. You can co-ordinate these with your outfit, jewlery, or hair slides, and guarantee that everybody in the room will be looking at you! Funky Freehand If you're not really artistically inclined, you may well regard this one as 'The Master Class'! Try blending colors of polish directly on your nail. You could use stripes, dots, or even make up your own funky freehand patterns. Now if you really want to go to town you can wait for the varnish to dry, and then 'work into it' (as my old art teacher used to say!). Take a permanent marker and draw onto the top of your nail. You can get much more attention to detail if it is a fine-liner, even down to the fact that you can do a dotty pattern exactly around a nail varnish circle. Just make sure that you give your nails a final coat of clear varnish when they are dry. Even permanent marker can smudge on varnished nails you see...!
